In a recent interview on Obinna's YouTube channel, Kenyan lawyer and activist Miguna Miguna offered a controversial explanation for his recent return to Kenya, stating that he wouldn't have come back if his political rival Raila Odinga had won the election.
Miguna accused both Odinga and former President Uhuru Kenyatta of obstructing his return to Kenya. He further added that, "Even if by some chance Raila became the president, I wouldn't have returned to Kenya."
According to Miguna Miguna he claims that , "I swore in Raila Odinga. I gave him the power which he deserved because he won the elections, but the greedy man ran away from it and recognized me as an illegitimate imposter. That is the tragedy of Africa."

Despite his previous alliance with Raila, Miguna expressed his backing for current President William Ruto, praising him for upholding court orders and facilitating his repatriation to the country.
Miguna's return home comes after spending years in exile in Canada, sparked by a red alert placed on his passport by the previous administration, which he viewed as a politically motivated retaliation for his critiques of the Kenyatta government.
Having spent significant time in Canada both before and after what he claims to be his exile, Miguna discussed the political divide, recounting his detention at an airport for multiple days.
