Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba has dared the UDA party to expel her during Limuru III meeting she attended which the party was against. Speaking at the Limuru III meeting in Kabuku, Limuru, Wamuchomba revealed that she had received messages attempting to dissuade her from attending the meeting. She vehemently opposed the Finance Bill and urged people to vote against it. Wamuchomba also accused the Kenya Kwanza government of laying off people from Mount Kenya, asserting that she has evidence to support her claims if taken to court.

The Githunguri lawmaker also encouraged Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua to recognize that Uhuru is the caretaker of the people of Mt Kenya. She further informed her that Raila Odinga who is one of her closest ally speaks the same language with President Ruto.

Hon Wamuchomba has been the only vocal Member of Parliament from UDA who has been launching words of attack on the UDA government. The Githunguri member of parliament stated that she would lead the people of Mount Kenya to fight for their rights and what the region deserves from the government.



Meanwhile, former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu revealed that he has left President William Ruto's UDA party, but he is not joining the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.
