Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has sparked conversation after being seen at the airport carrying his own luggage in a suitcase. Photos shared online show Gachagua at the airport, preparing to catch a flight to Mombasa.

Unlike his usual routine, where he is accompanied by a heavy security detail and personal assistants, this time he was seen alone with only a single bodyguard. He carried his own luggage onto the plane and was also spotted pulling his suitcase after landing in Mombasa, an act that has caught the attention of many Kenyans.

People have begun to speculate on why Gachagua chose to carry his own luggage and use a commercial plane instead of a government aircraft. Some believe he did it intentionally to garner attention from Kenyans. Others suggest he was setting an example for other leaders to avoid wasting resources by hiring private planes.
