Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has stirred the political landscape with a sharp critique to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. This was shortly after Odinga announced his candidacy for the African Union's top position.

Odinga proposed that if elected, he would push for the abolishment of visa requirements across African countries, a statement that prompted an immediate reaction from Miguna.

Miguna Miguna took to social media to question Raila Odinga's bid for the African Union chairmanship, accusing the former Prime Minister of misleading Kenyans about the powers and responsibilities of the position.

Miguna reminded Odinga that the authority to abolish visas lies with the Heads of State and government, not the AUC chairman. He subtly implied that Odinga may not fully understand the functions of the role he is pursuing.

"The chairman of the AUC has zero power to abolish visas. That power belongs to heads of governments and states. Raila doesn’t even understand the functions of the AUC chairman." Miguna posted.
