Outspoken politician and activist Francis Gaitho has ignited an online debate after criticizing controversial blogger Maverick Aoko for allegedly spreading "fabricated stories" and "rumors."

In a social media post, Gaitho accused Aoko of being a distraction and claimed she is being fed narratives by government operatives to mislead the public.

Gaitho’s remarks, posted on X (formerly Twitter), were unfiltered and direct. He described Aoko as a "psycho" who adds no real value to public discourse, claiming her contributions revolve around gossip, rumors, and personal scandals. “Y’all be giving me grief that me exposing her will somehow weaken the revolution,” Gaitho said. “But what value does she bring to the table muchene, rumors, cooked narratives, sexcapades? How will that help you?”

He implied that many of these men might be seeking maternal figures due to absentee female companionship or upbringing. “I think the men who follow Aoko are suffering from mummy issues,” Gaitho added. “How can a man be so addicted to her gross and borderline psychotic stories? You have problems."
