Kasmuel McOure, a well-known youthful activist and ODM party member, has come under fire following comments made during an interview with K24.
In the interview, the political activist suggested that it is too early for Kenyans to predict the outcome of the 2027 elections—a statement that sparked widespread criticism from the public.
The youthful politician insisted that he is more focused on developing the ODM youth league which according to him will help bring the youths to the table of decision makers.
"We are still too far from 2027 to know how the elections will go. I am more focused on developing the ODM youth league that will allow us sit at the table as decision makers." He stated.
The youthful activist’s remarks have drawn backlash from some Kenyans, who accuse him of indirectly supporting the current administration. Others have gone as far as branding him a traitor for allegedly siding with the government.

"He can simply say he supports Ruto. ODM and UDA and their broad based government will not come back."
"He thinks he can influence anything in ODM."
"The youth cannot stand this man, all they see is a traitor."
"He will learn the hard way."
