Although President William Ruto serves all Kenyans, Vice President Rigathi Gachagua has maintained his position on recognizing loyalty despite saying he will only assist UDA supporters.
All Kenyans would receive government services, according to Gachagua, who spoke at the Nairobi Rivers Commission's opening event on Wednesday in Korogocho. But, he said that as the UDA leader, he would concentrate on the party's members.
Gachagua was reacting to Musalia Mudavadi, the Prime Cabinet Secretary, who had spoken before him and had stated that the administration would serve everyone equally.
President Ruto will serve all Kenyans. He will continue his work as the nation's leader, and I, as the UDA's head, will continue to interact with UDA members, according to Gachagua.

The Kenya Kwanza government, according to Mudavadi, will cooperate with and respect all Kenyans.
We are in Korogocho right now, and the people here selected Kwanza, who are not Kenyans. Mudavadi said, "Being here is an evidence that we are going to work for all Kenyans regardless of who they voted for."
The DP has recently been under fire for saying that Kenya is similar to a firm where certain people are huge shareholders, and others do not.
Gachagua stated during a speech in Kericho on Sunday that those who supported the Kenya Kwanza government are entitled to all government contracts and appointments.
According to him, the Kenya Kwanza government will reward its ardent followers and those who worked hard to install the current administration and will give the opposition the least amount of thought.
"Our government is a corporation with stock. Some owners hold the bulk of shares, owners hold only a handful, and owners hold no shares. Your investment in this government must pay off. The time to reap has come after you planted, tilled, applied manure, and irrigated the land, the nation's second-in-command declared on Sunday.
