Kathiani Member of Parliament (MP) Robert Mbui has appealed to the kenya kwanza government to stop blaming the past regime for their shortcomings and focus on delivering their promises to kenyans.

According to the Kathiani Member of Parliament, the current administration has been in office for over six months. However, they are still fixated on the failures of the last regime and throwing shade at former president uhuru kenyatta.

Speaking to citizen tv, Robert Mbui said it's time for the government to focus on their priorities and deliver its manifesto to kenyans.

"The prioritization of this government is wrong. It's important they put their house in order and realize that citizens need to be fed," mbui said

"I would advise this government to stop being fixated on former President Uhuru Kenyatta. He is already six months out of office and they are still blaming him for things that occurred when its own leader was Uhuru's deputy." he added. The Kathiani Member of Parliament said that deputy president rigathi gachagua should be careful with his words not to disenchant citizens but rather provide solutions to the country's problems.

"The Deputy President has to be careful what he tells the masses. You cannot tell people that there is no hope. That is what he needs to be advised. Find solutions and tell people how you are going to slove their problems," said Mbui.

"When you tell people that there is no maize and there is competition in South Africa we cannot get it and maize in Brazil is too expensive, we don't want to get out hands dirty yet people are suffering and dying of hunger."

His statement comes after the deputy president said that there is no cheap maize anywhere in the world and that the future looks gloomy, adding that we are competing with Angola and Rwanda for maize from south africa
