Cleophas Malala, the UDA's secretary general, claims that the Orange Democratic Movement party should be held accountable for demolishing the United Democratic Alliance headquarters in Kisumu.

According to Malala, the party has requested in writing from the Office of the Registration of Political Parties that party money be withheld until they have paid for the property destroyed during the UDA demonstrations.

Yesterday, angry demonstrators in Kisumu attacked the Milimani Estate headquarters of President William Ruto's party. They entered the offices illegally, caused extensive damage, and removed any items they could.

"As a party, we'll write to the Registrar of Political Parties to make sure ODM covers the cost of destroying the UDA offices. People need to understand that a political party is about its members, not its infrastructure", added Malala.

Kimani Ichungwa, the majority leader in the National Assembly, argued that the ORPP funds for the Raila Odinga-led party should be withheld to cover the damages' costs.

"The ODM Party shall not be held liable for the extensive damage to the UDA premises in Kisumu, according to the office of the Registrar of Political Parties. To guarantee that the property harmed is reimbursed, the registrar of political parties must withdraw payments from ODM", according to Ichungwa.

The UDA secretary general stated that they would not be intimidated by the ODM demonstrators' action and would continue registering party supporters in Odinga's stronghold starting the following week.

The registration of our supporters will continue while our party headquarters are being renovated on Tuesday of next week, according to Malala.

The Kenya Kwanza MPs described the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya demonstrations as a total failure and noted that the results disappointed Odinga's political strongholds.

The supporters of Ruto emphasized that the Azimio Coalition needs widespread support among Kenyans and urged the Nyanza inhabitants not to be forced to forward Odinga's self-serving agenda.

"No one should ever tell you that the only way to advance in life is to shake Mr Odinga's hand. We can promise you that President Ruto is a just man who would work to expedite nation development, " said Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruyoit.

"He merely uses you to get power, and after he does, there is nothing left to show for it. He shook hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta, but nothing came of it", the speaker continued.

Ichungwa expressed that Odinga has been gradually losing his political fortunes and urged him to give the Kenyan people what President William Ruto's administration is doing.

"In Tsiekuru, Gichugu, or even Ndaragwa, where several Azimio leaders are from, there were no demonstrations".

It is clear that some areas need to be freed from the burden of Odinga and the servitude of being used as pawns, he remarked.

UDA also wants Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya, to be held responsible for the disorder and property damage visible during the large rallies on Monday.

The party led by President William Ruto further requested that Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome ensure that the Azimio leadership is subject to accountability measures.

They also call for the detention of former President Uhuru Kenyatta, who they accuse of funding the opposition coalition's coordinated mass protest.

"I want the Inspector General to know not to fear anyone, and don't simply arrest young males," she said.

"If the blame lies with them, go after Raila Odinga and former President Uhuru Kenyatta", said Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa.

Ichung'wa applauded the police for preventing entry to the CBD for Odinga and his supporters.

He criticized Odinga for planning widespread looting while claiming to support decreased living expenses.

"Odinga is involved in economic terrorism and urban banditry. By subsidies, he drained this economy dry, and we want to assure them that they won't return", the Majority Leader stated.
