Alice Ng'ang'a, the mp for thika town says that azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga was paid Ksh.10 billion to stir up unrest against President William Ruto's administration.

According to the MP, Raila's attempts to create anarchy in the nation through mass protests have been funded by investors, such as a prominent politician whom she did not identify.

Speaking during a church service on Sunday at the AIPCA Thika Cathedral, the mp said that the kenya kwanza administration is aware of the transaction and has proof of where it occurred and pictures of the ODM leader and his financiers.

"We know those financing him [Raila] to go and destroy our people's businesses in Nairobi. They are Kikuyus like us, and they have been in government. We know the money they gave him and where they did so," Alice Ng'ang'a.

"We even have their photos, and if they continue, we will reveal their names," Ng'ang'a added.

She suggested that the financiers come out of hiding and proclaim their interest in destabilising the nation's administration and economy.

Jane Kihara, her Naivasha counterpart, alleged that former President Uhuru Kenyatta is behind the Azimio leader's and followers' mass demonstrations.

"Uhuru should tell us where he stands in these protests. He should tell Kenyans who is behind the efforts to distract our President [Ruto] from delivering on his promises," Kihara said.

azimio la Umoja leader raila odinga has organised mass protests across the country that are supposed to be held every Monday and Thursday. The former prime minister has maintained that he does not recognise the kenya kwanza administration. The protests are also due to the high cost of living.

Another reason for the protest is the appointment of IEBC officials. azimio has been against IEBC officials claiming that they colluded with top government officials to steal the election from him, and Odinga claims that he won the presidential elections.
