On Monday 3, 2023, President William Ruto hosted Parliamentary leadership to develop a frame work for the President’s recommended bipartisan approach.
Ruto has urged the leaders of both Houses of Parliament to prioritize addressing the issues brought up by the opposition by using a bipartisan strategy.

On the other side, the head of state has suggested that the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC) selection panel be reconstituted using both chambers of parliament in a bipartisan manner.
The president stated that it was not a game of numbers but a game of wisdom.
Kimani Ichungwah, the majority leader of the National Assembly (NA), Owen Baya, Sylvanus Osoro (South Mugirango), and Naomi Jillo, the deputy majority whip, were the leaders in attendance.

Aaron Cheruiyot, the deputy majority leader from Nairobi, Tabitha Keroche, and Lelegwe Ltumbesi, the deputy majority whip, were other participants. Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, also attended the meeting.
