Kapseret, Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi has slammed Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga over Tuesday's demands ahead of dialogue with the government.

Speaking on Twitter after Raila's press conference, Sudi said he was shocked that Raila wanted the dialogue to be like that of 2008.

Further, he questioned how the issues of reducing the cost of living and opening IEBC servers are related to the 2008 National Accord.

"I am shocked to hear Raila Odinga desperately seeking talks like the 2008 National Accord using the issues of the price of unga and opening of IEBCKenya servers. Do these issues even relate? Heri tu mrudi Maandamano nyinyi," Sudi said.

In a press conference by Raila Odinga on Tuesday, he said the bipartisan talks proposed by President William Ruto being purely Parliamentary might not fully achieve the intended objectives.

"It is the resolution of this meeting that a purely Parliamentary process will not serve the intended end, our suggestion is to have a conversation at the national level through a process akin to the 2008 National Accord," the statement reads in part.

Azimio said the resolve came after deliberations following Sunday's truce between Raila Odinga and President Ruto.

In his demands, Raila said Azimio will not rest until the high cost of living is resolved.

Raila wants the audit of servers by experts to be done, citing that the truth must come out.

The opposition boss added that Kenya Kwanza should reform and reconstitute the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission necessary for future elections.

He also said there should be fidelity and the spirit of multiparty democracy in parliament.

Raila said that out of all the issues laid in public, the high cost of living must be addressed urgently

He added that other areas to be considered include the composition of the Bipartisan Committee, the Implementation of the recommendations, and the Involvement of leaders outside Parliament.
