Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzayo on Wednesday said that Azimio la Umoja will accept the 2022 August general election outcome if IEBC servers show President William Ruto won.

Speaking at a local station, the Senator said it will be a sigh of relief for Kenyans when the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) servers will be opened.

"It is so simple, when we say open the servers, what is the big deal about that? If you won, you won, if we have lost, we have lost," he said.

Further, he said that opening servers will require experts from both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza.

The opposition has been at the fore in calling for the opening and audit of the Independent Election and Boundaries Commission servers, led by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Since then, Raila has disregarded the outcomes of the August 2022 elections and declared the administration invalid.

Before starting a conversation with Ruto, Raila outlined a number of requests, including the server's opening and the high cost of living.

To raise awareness of the high expense of living, among other issues, Raila has been organising several protests and rallies against the government.

On Sunday, Raila agreed to the president's request to end nationwide protests and adopt a bipartisan strategy.

But, Raila formulated new demands before the bipartisan strategy.

Raila said that Ruto must address the high cost of living, the audit of servers by experts and reconstitute IEBC, among others.
