Danstan Omari, a city attorney, has demanded an apology from Kimani Ichung'wah, the majority leader of the National Assembly, over his supposed accusation that Omari frequents Koinange Street.

Through attorney Brian Mabeya, Omari demands in a demand letter to Ichungwa that the lawmaker withdraw the tweet and apologize accordingly.

Brian Mabeya claims that on February 1, 2023, Ichung'wah posted a tweet stating that his people know him in Kikuyu, unlikee the fake media-based liar he said is only known along Koinange Street. Mabeya said the tweet was referring to Danstun Omari.

Ichungwah wrote the tweet as a caption in reaction to an NTV program in which Omari claimed that Ichung'wah was only well-known among Kikuyu and not elsewhere.

Mabeya adds that the tweet was intended to paint Omari as a person with questionable morals who associates with sluts. The attorney said Omari is an advocate of several years, a father and a married man as well as a lawyer of the high court.

Ichungwa was informed that his tweet was intended to harm our client's reputation and character in the eyes of the general public.

Omari Stated that the repayment of matured loans is political propaganda because they are significantly different from loans obtained locally in Kenya.
