Azimio's bipartisan team has expanded its negotiating committee by appointing Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and Law Scholar Makau Mutua during their first press conference after conferring with the coalition leadership.
The Azimio la Umoja team thanked their teachers and other coalition members for the award and promised to work hard to meet the objectives. Paul Mwangi, the attorney for Raila Odinga, will serve as the joint secretary of the Bipartisan Committee. At the same time, Prof. Makau and Kioni will act as helping counsels during negotiations with the Kenya Kwanza organization.
The chief negotiator for Azimio, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, reaffirmed the coalition's dedication to an open, honest, and sincere debate that will result in substantive change for Kenyans.
