On December 7, 2022, Raila Odinga led all the Azimio leaders in a mega meeting at Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi.
Among the cream leaders present at the venue were Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, and ex-Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.
The former prime minister said what is in Kenya is a captive parliament. He further added that the judiciary is captive to the government. " They are doing what the president wants," said Raila.

The opposition leader told Kenyans to be ready to say No and that the IEBC leaders must return to their position. He insisted that they will not allow dictatorship.
Raila concluded the meeting by saying that they will lead the way in the new year. "In the new year, we will show you the way," said Odinga. Raila says Chebukati and his officials were declared angles while the Cherera 4 were being crucified.
The Azimio leader says that the cost of living has gone high, together with rent, fare, and fuel.
Raila says Kazi Mtaani was to help people but now things are different since they were rigged out.
Mr. Odinga said the Kenyan government has to do subsidies following covid and Ukraine like other countries are doing giving an example of Nigeria and America.
Raila reminded people of his nguruwe sita policy that according to him would work better than the hustler fund. He says people should take loans and never say thank you by simply not paying back because the hustler fund money is stolen.
