According to recent reports, MP Muthoni Wamuchomba has taken a significant step towards distancing herself from the ruling party due to her actions during the reading of the finance bill 2023.

Sources suggest that growing tensions have emerged between Wamuchomba and the ruling party, particularly in light of her apparent opposition to the president. It has been revealed that a debate took place at State House on Tuesday without Wamuchomba's presence, purportedly due to her opposing stance, which has led to the party being at odds with her.

She claimed that in order to avoid any disruption, Ruto met with her MPs and held a talk in her absence quite late at night.

"They are now discussing me in State House. I was not invited to the House Committee meeting on Tuesday to discuss the Finance Bill 2023 because of my state position against it. They took the approved proposals at night because they are all aware that they are wrong," she said in the live interview.

She has chosen a course of action that is sure to gratify her supporters, but it is unfortunate that it will infuriate her boss, who believes she is a party snitch.
