Since the Cherera4 came to the limelight after the August polls, they have had different stories.
Just weeks after three of the commissioners resigned, details have emerged revealing how the four IEBC officials were allegedly hosted by Azimio at Kilimani apartment.

Reportedly, this happened after they rejected the 2022 Presidential results. Led by the vice chair Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyangaya, Francis Wanderi, and Irene Masit, the four refused to claim ownership of the August poll election results that were released by IEBC Boss Wafula Chebukati. They refused to claim ownership citing the opaqueness of the vote tallying and the verification process.
Evidence of the Yaya Apartments management now links the Cherera four IEBC commissioners to Raila's Azimio team. It is now revealed that the premises has presented logs that show that the four officials checked in on August 15th with bookings done by a person identified as Edwin Ongonga Ogwe.
On August 15th at exactly 8:15 p.m the four IEBC commissioners accompanied by bodyguards and other guests arrived for the check-in but they were unwilling to provide their details.

The four commissioners checked out of Yaya apartments and Hotel on August 19th at 3p.m.
According to CCTV footage, there are some Azimio officials who visited the commissioners at the apartments and payment vouchers.
