After Gabriel Jesus was substituted out of Tuesday's 2-1 Champions League victory over Sevilla due to a hamstring injury, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta expressed his "worries" about the Brazilian forward.
After a setback at Lens, the Brazil international struck a breathtaking goal and set up another for fellow countryman Gabriel Martinelli to help the Gunners resume their European campaign.
Although Arteta showered the forward with praise, he acknowledged that the injury that forced him off the field late in the game worried him.
"He hurt something in his hamstring and he had to come off, I'm worried about that," Arteta told reporters in Seville.

Due to a knee injury at the beginning of the season, Jesus played in late September while trying to find his best form.
The striker has only scored once in seven Premier League games but has three goals in three Champions League games.
Just before halftime, Jesus used a deft turn to help break through Sevilla's defense and thread a pass-through for Martinelli to open the score.
Jesus then scored the second goal himself, curling a curling shot into the upper corner, and it was enough as Nemanja Gudelj headed home from a corner.
"I'm really happy, (it was a) big game for big players, he needs to produce those moments," said Arteta.
"He came here for a reason, he changed our world, he brought so much belief and energy for the team. The team relies on those players to win games, we need players like this."
If Jesus' injury worsens, Arsenal, who are currently two points behind leaders Tottenham in the Premier League, may have to look to Eddie Nketiah, Kai Havertz, or Leandro Trossard to fill the void left by his absence.
On Saturday, the Gunners play host to Sheffield United before traveling to Newcastle in the Premier League and hosting Sevilla in the Champions League.
After Lens and PSV Eindhoven drew 1-1 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Sevilla, the Gunners' victory there put them atop Group B, according to Arteta.
"We took a big step towards qualification, it's another step, this team has to keep growing," added the coach.
"Defeat against Lens put us in a difficult position and we had to react."
