Manchester City's Pep Guardiola promised to bounce back from their FA Cup final disappointment next season as the English champions celebrated their fourth consecutive Premier League title with a parade on Sunday.
The defeat to local rivals Manchester United in Saturday's FA Cup final prevented City from becoming the first English team to win consecutive league and cup doubles.
However, Guardiola's team made history by becoming the first to win four consecutive English Premier League titles.
Thousands of fans braved torrential rain to watch their heroes travel through Manchester's Deansgate area on open-top buses.
However, the numbers were significantly lower than last year's parade to commemorate a Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup treble.

City have won six of the last seven Premier League titles under Guardiola, who has only one year left on his contract.

City trailed 2-0 at halftime thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, and their second-half comeback was too little, too late, despite Jeremy Doku's goal.
