Kenyan athletes' outstanding performances at the Olympics have once again won the continent's top spot, with 11 medals.

Kenya finished 17th out of nearly 180 nations that competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning four gold medals, two silver medals, and five bronze.

Kenya's result improved from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021 when it finished 19th with four gold, four silver, and two bronze medals.

China scored first internationally after earning 40 gold medals, 27 silver medals, and 24 bronze medals, followed by the United States of America, Japan, Australia, and the host France, who rounded out the top five performances in the Olympics.
