After crushing Juventus 5-1 on Friday and extending their lead over second-place Juventus by ten points, Napoli's hopes of capturing their first Serie A championship since Diego Maradona's time seem more realistic than ever.
To establish their dominance in what is starting to resemble a one-team fight for the championship, Luciano Spalletti's free-spirited team once again dazzled with a statement performance against their old rivals.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Amir Rahmani, and Eljif Elmas scored the other goals for the hosts to increase their lead above Juve and AC Milan. Victor Osimhen raised his league goal total with a goal in each half, and the season total is 12 points.

With a victory at Lecce on Saturday, Milan may close the deficit to seven points. Still, how Napoli handled Juve was the latest indication that the most fantastic club in southern Italy is the real deal and prepared to end a 33-year wait for a league championship.
Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen were lethal in attack, setting up each other's goals and wreaking havoc almost immediately against a team that had only given up seven goals before Friday's 17 games, 17 goals in the league.
"The night was fantastic ", Osimhen addressed DAZN.
"I'm delighted for the group and glad to contribute with a pair of goals and a helper. We want to continue moving forward.
"We want to keep winning games despite the long road ahead. We have a decent opportunity somewhere at the end of the season.
Despite a poor start to the season, Juve entered the game at a crowded Stadio Maradona on an eight-game winning streak without giving up a goal, making them title candidates.
Instead, after giving up five goals in a Serie A game for the first time since May 1993, Massimiliano Allegri's squad left Naples with their tails between their legs.
"When you make errors like we did against a team like Napoli, you are going to be punished. They are the league leaders and deserve to be where they are," Massimiliano Allegri.
Osimhen twice
Napoli immediately engaged Juve, which pressed the visitors high up the field to prevent them from developing any plays.
Osimhen almost connected with Kim Min-long Jae's pass in the 12th minute, but the Nigerian international was unflappable and gave the hosts the lead two minutes later.
Kvaratskhelia received a cross from Matteo Politano, and Wojciech Szczesny saved his acrobatic volley well. The ball fell to Osimhen, who nodded in from a close distance.
Juve appeared to lose, but to their credit, they reacted to the early barrage and gained control of the game.
In the 21st minute, Angel Di Maria snatched up a terrible Rrahmani pass and unleashed a long-range shot that grazed the top of the crossbar. The Maradona's collective heart was in its mouth.
Bremer and Arkadiusz Milik had compressed headers, but Juve appeared to be winning. In the 39th minute, Kvaratskhelia gave Napoli a two-goal lead when Bremer mishandled a high pass, and Osimhen switched to the supporting role for the Georgian wing wizard.
With their best player, Di Maria, Juve quickly equalized. His low, precise finish punished the hasty Napoli defence.
Napoli led at halftime primarily due to Alex Meret, who deflected Rrahmani's baffling attempt to clear Federico Chiesa's inswinging cross.
Nine minutes after the break, Rahmani scored a spectacular first-time goal from Kvaratskhelia's corner to compensate for his somewhat shaky first-half performance. From that point on, it was party time for Napoli.
A perfect cross from Kvaratskhelia in the 65th minute led to Osimhen scoring Napoli's fourth goal. Seven minutes later, substitute Elmas added the finishing touch with his fifth goal of the year, deflected beyond Szczesny by Alex Sandro.
