To upset Real Madrid and advance to the Champions League quarterfinals, Jurgen Klopp indicated on Tuesday that his Liverpool squad might only have a 1% chance, but they will make the most of it.
The coach had declared, the European champions at Anfield in February, his team's prospects of advancing to the semifinals were dashed after a 5-2 first-leg loss; moving were dead.
But Klopp claimed he had slightly modified his opinion. Even though no one else supported his team, they were excited for the matchup in the Spanish capital, a rematch of the season's championship.
In a news conference, Klopp stated, "I previously said Madrid would advance to the next round based on their outcome. Now that it has been three weeks, we are aware of this. There is a game to play".

"Even if there is only a 1% possibility, I would like to try it. We're coming to take on a very formidable foe and attempt to win the game tomorrow".
"Despite how challenging it is, it is achievable. We are here for that reason, and we'll follow it wherever it goes".
Six-time champions Liverpool have wreaked havoc on rivals Manchester United in the Premier League, destroying them 7-0, before falling to relegation-threatened Bournemouth 1-0 last weekend.
Klopp's team predicted to compete for the championship, has occasionally lingered around the middle of the table this year but is now hoping for a top-four finish.
The German instructor argued that if we can surprise ourselves negatively, we should also be able to do it positively.
But it's apparent that we're not urging Madrid to be careful because we're coming; that is different from the circumstance we find ourselves in.
Madrid, the record 14-time champions and masters of European comebacks, orchestrated another one at Anfield after falling by two goals to win easily.
Klopp stated that Carlo Ancelotti's team's mentality was a key strength as they sought to win an unprecedented sixth Champions League in ten years.
In addition, Klopp said, "Madrid can certainly, despite being down 2-0, they continue to believe in themselves and scent blood, which is a huge ability for a club".
"There is nothing that can make them 'excited' in a bad way because they have won so much in the last several years," one person said.
Even with the offensive prowess of his club, the German coach acknowledged that recovering from three goals at the Santiago Bernabeu was a difficult task.
"I can't pretend that having three ambitions isn't an issue; of course it is. And three is much less likely because it's only feasible if we don't give up, according to Klopp".
"If I were seated on that side of the table, I would observe the same — Liverpool has no chance".
"With a small amount of belief, that means we are alone. Not in doing it, but in a chance. The next day, we'll test it and see".
