The Kenya Baseball 5 young team expects government help as they prepare for the next World Cup Qualifiers in Cape Coast, Ghana, next month.
Kenya Baseball Federation head Titus Mutwiri believes that with proper preparation, the junior team may outperform their seniors, who competed in last year's World Cup in Mexico.
Mutwiri has identified Kenya Baseball Federation president Titus Mutwirias their key competitors in the qualifications.
"Right now, we're concentrating on defeating South Africa with the juniors because they were the only team that beat our senior team on their way to qualifying for the World Cup last year," Mutwiri explained. "However, we need proper preparations to beat them given their level."
