Marcus Rashford will miss United's Europa League quarter-final first-leg match against Sevilla due to a muscular issue that will keep him out for "a few games," according to the club.
The 25-year-old, who has 28 goals for Erik Ten Hag's side this season, clipped out of Saturday's 2-0 Premier League victory over Everton.
"Due to a muscle injury, Marcus Rashford is going to be unavailable for Thursday's UEFA Europa League quarter-final match against Sevilla," United announced.
"In the 80th minute of play of Saturday's 2-0 Premier League (PL) win over Everton at Old Trafford, the forward was withdrawn and immediately headed to the dressing room for treatment."

"Subsequent evaluation of the injury indicated that Marcus will not be available for a few games, but is projected to be back for the season run-in."
Anthony Martial, who struck the second goal against Everton, has recently returned to fitness for United, while loan signing Wout Weghorst is another striking option.
Creative midfielder Christian Eriksen returned from an extended injury lay-off as an alternate against Everton. In contrast, United are poised to bring Casemiro back into the squad for Thursday's meeting with Sevilla following the Brazilian midfielder receiving a suspension.
Manchester United won the League Cup in February, is pursuing a top-four berth in the Premier League and will encounter Brighton in the FA Cup semi-finals later this month.
