Argentina captain Lionel Messi has been suspended for two weeks by Paris St-Germain after travelling to Saudi Arabia without authorization this week.
The trip came after the French club's home loss to Lorient on Sunday, in which Messi played the entire 90 minutes.
During his ban, Messi will not train or play for PSG.
According to reports, the 35-year-old requested permission to go to perform commercial work but was denied.
Messi, who the club has also punished, serves as a Saudi tourism ambassador.
