In the ongoing African Volleyball Clubs Championships in Tunisia, the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Men's Volleyball Team joined KCB and Kenya Pipeline on Tuesday.

Following a 3-1 sets victory over ASEG of Senegal (25-19, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20), KPA earned a spot in the men's Round of 16, placing second in Pool 'A' with seven points to JOA of Algeria's eight.

The Dockers, who are aiming to finish higher than their fifth-place finish from the previous season, recovered from Sunday's 3-2 sets loss to JOA to upset the Senegalese team and earn their second victory of the competition after defeating Cameroon Sports Club of Cameroon 3-1 in their first match.

Meanwhile, the women's reigning champions of KCB continued their impressive play against Senegalese Saltigue in the last Pool 'B' match, winning their third straight match in a row.

In the lopsided encounter, KCB, who had been playing their absolute best and had already advanced to the Round of 16 stage, prevailed over the Senegalese team in sets of 25-11, 25-13, and 25-15.

On Wednesday, Kenya Pipeline's preliminary matches end against DEC of the Ivory Coast. On Monday, the Oilers defeated the Algerian team Mouloudia Club d'Alger 3-1 to secure their place in the Round of 16.

The Round of 16 stages will take place on Wednesday, and play will resume on Thursday as the competition heats up.
