Kenya Pipeline was defeated 3-1 by Egypt's Zamalek in the final of the 2023 Women's Africa Club Championships on Monday evening in Tunisia.
Pipeline dropped the first set 25-22 before winning the second set 25-18. The Egyptians won the third set 25-15 before the fourth set 25-17.
The Kenyan champions improved on their bronze medal from the previous year's event by earning silver.
The defeat continues Pipeline's wait for the African championship, which they last won in 2005.
