On Tuesday, Fulham announced the signing of Belgium defender Timothy Castagne from Leicester for an undisclosed cost of roughly £15 million ($19 million).

The Premier League club said the 27-year-old right-back has agreed to a contract extension until 2027, with a 12-month option.

Castagne, who has 33 senior appearances for Belgium, spent three seasons at Leicester before the club was demoted to the Championship in May.

"I'm feeling very good," the former Atalanta player told FFCtv. "It's been a long transfer period, but I'm finally here, and I'm glad to be here."

"It feels great. I've spoken with the manager, and I can't wait to get back to training and playing."

"I'm excited to welcome Timothy Castagne to Fulham," said Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan.

"He's a versatile and very talented defender with Premier League and international experience for Belgium."

Castagne could make his Fulham Premier League debut against champions Manchester City on Saturday.
