Nairobi is hosting sports business leaders, legendary players, government officials, and experts from across the globe for the 2nd Africa Football Business Summit.
The Summit is an annual event set to revolutionise the future of African football organized by the Football Foundation for Africa (FFA).
FFA is an international social enterprise that seeks to drive investment in grassroots development in Africa, with the ultimate goal of creating job opportunities and protecting the foundations of African football, such as talent and passion, by promoting better governance of the games at all levels.
The 2023 summit is already in a position to revolutionize African football business activities that centre on crucial knowledge production and dissemination systems, collaborative leadership, and progressive growth-oriented tactics.
The summit also aims to promote unity and prosperity on the continent by empowering African countries to realize their football potential.

Speaking at the event, Tourism, Wildlife, and Heritage Principal Secretary (PS) John Ololtuaa stated that African soccer holds immense potential and that the African Football Business Summit 2023 is a significant step towards realising that potential.
“It is a platform for the exchange of ideas and the creation of partnerships that will drive the development of football on this continent,” stated Ololtuaa,
Additionally, he stated that he is yearning to be part of the transformative event uniting Africans.
On her part Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) Head of African Development Sarah Solemele, said that football has the power to change lives and communities.
Moreover, she maintained that FIFA is committed to supporting summits like this, which provide a unique opportunity to discuss innovative ways to strengthen the foundation of soccer development and governance in Africa.
“I look forward to engaging in meaningful and sustainable discussion at this event,” said Solemele.
FFA operates along four pillars: empowering and protecting players; creating opportunities; the natural environment; and authentic partnership.
