Real Madrid's manager, Carlo Ancelotti, showered Jude Bellingham with commendation after the 20-year-old secured a 1-0 victory over Union Berlin in their Champions League opener on Wednesday, scoring in the final moments of added time.
The English midfielder, who made the switch from Borussia Dortmund to Madrid in June, marked his sixth goal in as many games this season.
"He has quality and it looks like he's lucky," the Italian told reporters at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"He's smarter than others when attacking from the second line. He has this quality and he's making the most of it."
Ancelotti also confirmed that Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr will be back in action for Real Madrid in their upcoming LaLiga match against Las Palmas next week, following his recovery from a thigh muscle injury sustained last month.
"He's one of the best forwards in the world. He makes the difference. Vinicius will be back next Wednesday. We'll see if he makes it for Sunday (against Atletico Madrid)," Ancelotti said.
