Former president Uhuru Kenyatta has distributed gifts to several children homes in his  Gatundu backyard to mark Christmas.

Speaking on X, formerly Twitter, accompanied by members of his family visited Gatundu Children’s home, Mama Ngina Children’s Home, Mama Fatuma Children’s home, St Dorcas Educational Centre as well as Mary Faith Rescue Centre where he seized the moment to call on Kenyans to exude the spirit of sharing at such times.

His visit to Gatundu, seemingly a tradition, comes against the backdrop of yet a similar activity by president William Ruto who distributed food commodities to his constituents at his Sugoi home in Uasin Gishu county.
