Former governor Hon. William Kabogo has called for the resignation of Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Hon. Mithika Linturi, amidst the scandal of fake subsidized fertilizer being distributed to farmers nationwide.
Kabogo's statement follows remarks made by CS Mithika Linturi, where he asserted that he answers solely to his superior and expressed no fear regarding the counterfeit subsidized fertilizer issue.
“I know what is going on. I am the leader of that ministry and I only report to my boss and he understands what’s going on. You will know the truth about what is going on before the end of the week. Don’t be distracted.” CS Linturi guarantees clarity on fake fertilizer scandal by the end of this week.
"My friend Mithika Linturi please Save yourself the shame and throw in the towel. If the allegations are true, it’s the most disgusting thing I’ve heard of a CS". Said Hon. William Kabogo.
Now, it remains to be seen whether CS Mithika Linturi will respond to Kabogo's call for his resignation in the hours to come.
