More than 43,000 people were killed in Turkey and Syria on February 6 due to a 7.8-magnitude earthquake, including Atsu, 31.

Hatay, a province in southern Turkey, is where his body was discovered, according to his manager there, Murat Uzunmehmet, who spoke to the DHA news agency on Saturday.
