The head of State said that the youngsters would be taken from every place in Kenya while speaking during a pass-out procession of 8,421 graduates.

"We intend to increase the annual intake for each intake from 10,000 to 20,000. He said that to instil enough patriotism, we aim to quadruple the number of young people from every part of Kenya who joins the youth service.

The graduates were praised by President Ruto, who urged them to use their skills to further their professions.

Because of the promise that you have shown and your apparent capacity to utilize your knowledge, skills, and training to achieve your objectives and our shared national development goals, he said, "All these commitments and strategies have materialized from conceptions, ideas, and plans.

The President reaffirmed his desire to give young people opportunities to hold leadership roles.

He remarked, "We have seen what you can accomplish. It confirms our aspirations to base our strategy for swift national social and economic reform on the involvement of the youth in bigger numbers and significant responsibilities.

It means that providing meaningful opportunities for millions of young people is a prerequisite for economic growth and shared prosperity, not a byproduct of the Bottom-Up Agenda for national economic transformation.

He urged women to enrol in SUNY so that they could lay the groundwork for their future development and growth.

"The active participation of the overwhelming majority of adolescents must be the underlying element of our definition and concept of development," he said.

The President said, "I want to encourage the women and girls to join NYS, train for around three years, and graduate with a certificate, diploma, or any other essential training for you to aid in the expansion of the economy country.
