On 26 May 2023, at a Wiper Party Prayer meeting at Kalonzo's farm in Yatta, Raila Odinga made a statement that caught most Kenyans' attention. Raila's message revisited the 2022 August elections, which he claimed did not give authentic results. Mr. Odinga stated that there would be no peace unless access to the IEBC servers to determine the poll results is allowed. "We want to make rigging a very expensive enterprise. Nobody will ever again think of rigging an election. Without resolving this matter convincingly, there will be no peace in this country," Raila Odinga.

The former prime minister's statement has raised a discussion among Kenyans, some claiming he wants to divide the country.

Attorney Ahmednasir has expressed dismay at Raila Odinga's desire for Kenya to be partitioned in order for him to be elected president. Ahmednasir believes a leader shouldn't pursue leadership by all means necessary fervently. He has characterized efforts to split Kenya in half as wishful thinking.

According to attorney Ahmednasir, the Azimio leader's objective to maintain power by coercion after losing elections is regrettable. However, it is obvious that it is impossible to divide Kenya into separate parts and regions.

Attorney Ahmednasir has encouraged Raila Odinga to stop prioritizing personal interests and start concentrating on what brings Kenyans together. Let's wait and see if Raila would put personal interests aside and concentrate on issues rather than drama and impunity.
