A driver collapsed and died after eating lunch in Nairobi's Industrial Area.

Simon Kiptanui Rono, 64, fell at the Crown Bus Services Company offices after taking his lunch on Tuesday around lunchtime, according to police.

He was rushed to a medical facility and pronounced dead on arrival. Police have claimed that they are probing the unexpected death. The body was sent to a morgue.

And the body of Samuel Kamotho was discovered on the side of the road in Ngando, Dagoretti. The body was found outside rental homes, and it is unknown what caused the death.

The event is being investigated by police, who have yet to determine the motivation.


Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the death of a 56-year-old man whose body was discovered floating in the River Chwele in Bungoma County.

According to the family of the dead Richard Wakhisi, he was called by an unknown person on his cell phone on June 4 at night before leaving.

The corpse was found floating in the River Chwele the next day, with significant cuts on the head and both hands that were likely caused by a sharp object.

Until now, no arrests have been made, and authorities are still looking for the killers.
