As he wrapped up a three-day visit to the area, Ruto announced in Migori that the elections were done and that only one candidate won the presidency.

"It's time for Kenya to advance. The people of Nyanza should give me their full attention. The administration I'm in charge of belongs to you and to all Kenyans "said Ruto.

He claimed that the people had elected their governors, MCAs, MPs, women representatives, and the President, who promised to treat all Kenyans equally despite receiving few votes from the area.

The President remarked, "Listen to me carefully, it is impossible and I will not permit anyone to mislead or divide Kenyans because we are past that."

He gave the Nyanza area his word that he would leave no one behind or for anyone to steer the region in what he called the wrong way, asserting that they had the same right to government services and appointments as any other Kenyans.

"I want to make it clear that, in my capacity as President, nobody or anything will steer the Nyanza people away from the government or in the wrong direction".

Moreover, Ruto introduced a treat bundle for Uriri residents.

The President declared that his administration would spend Sh3 billion upgrading the Gogo electricity.

According to him, the proposal should be able to add at least 8 megawatts of power to the national grid following the investment.

At the same time, the President donated an additional 100 computers and pledged Sh120 million worth of equipment to the Uriri Technical College.

President Ruto urged the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya leader Raila Odinga to return the favour and vote for him in the 2027 general election citing that he, Ruto suffered a lot during the 2007 elections because of Raila Odinga and, therefore, it Raila's turn to now vote for him as returning the favour.
