Kylian Mbappe will miss Paris Saint-Germain's rescheduled Ligue 1 match at Nice on Wednesday due to a minor injury, the French champions announced.

Mbappe missed training on Tuesday due to "discomfort" in his left hamstring, and he was not named to the squad on Wednesday morning.

Mbappe's contract with PSG expires at the end of this season, and he scored his 44th goal of the season in a 3-1 loss to Toulouse on Sunday in his final home game.

It is unclear whether the France captain, who is expected to join Real Madrid, will be available for this weekend's Ligue 1 match at Metz, PSG's final game of the season.

He will make his final appearance for the Qatar-owned club in the French Cup final against Lyon on May 25.

Ousmane Dembele, Randal Kolo Muani, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi, and Keylor Navas were also left out of PSG's squad for the game in Nice, which was originally postponed earlier this month to allow them to prepare for their Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund.

While PSG has already won the title, Nice enters the game in fifth place, with a chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
