A pastor who claims to have nearly died from a heart attack and gone through hell has come out to talk about his "musical" purgatory experience.

According to Pastor Gerald Johnson of the Faith Culture Church in Texas, the United States, "my spirit abandoned my corporeal body" when he suffered a heart attack in 2016.

He asserts that despite being a man of God, he could not enter Heaven and plunged to the planet's core.

In a now-viral TikTok video with over 4 million views, the preacher declares, "It still baffles me to this day."

American pastor Gerald Johnson preaching
There was music playing in a particular area of hell. Although the music was the same as what we hear on Earth, demons sang it instead of performers. Some of the lyrics were the same as those heard here.
Gerald, a motivational speaker who also uses social media, writes on how the songs "Umbrella" by pop singer Rihanna and "Bust Your Windows" by R&B singer Jazmine Sulivan "tortured" him.

"I knew it was the same music played here on Earth, except demons were singing it rather than performers. While you can listen to songs like "Don't Worry Be Happy" or "Umbrella" up here to help you get over a breakup, down there every song's lyrics are to torment you," He remarks on the circumstance, "I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy."

Every song's lyrics, he claims, are intended to torture you since you failed to use music to serve God while you were on Earth.

He claims that drug usage by performers opens a portal to hell where the devils may whisper lyrics to them, ultimately allowing Satan to rule over humanity.

"You had the opportunity to worship God at the temple, at home, and through music, but you chose to serve Satan by singing the songs he prompted to enter the world."

He believed that the story should warn those who prefer secular music to hymns and prayers.
