In the wake of Pastor Mackenzie's massacre, controversial Pastor James Ng'ang'a of the Neno Evangelism Center has offered his perspective on the matter. He urged people to exercise caution before committing to any religious leader, emphasizing that individuals should undertake due diligence before making such decisions.

According to Nairobi News, Pastor Ng'ang'a stated that nobody is obligated to adhere to any specific faith or denomination, and therefore, it is essential to exercise caution when selecting a religious leader to follow. Despite being regarded as a contentious preacher himself, he maintained that he had nothing to hide.

Recently, there has been a significant outcry in Kenya regarding the brainwashing of individuals by religious leaders, especially in the wake of the Shakahola massacre by Pastor Paul Mackenzie. It has been reported that Mackenzie has convinced over 90 of his followers to engage in a fast until death as of April 23rd.

As a result, concerned citizens are calling for regulations to be put in place to oversee religious organizations and prevent the dissemination of extreme and misleading teachings in the future.

The preacher recently declared his intention to relocate to the US and build a new church there. He states that his goal is to spread the gospel to Americans to rescue more souls and lead them to Christ.

He has travelled to the US multiple times and is currently working on getting his plans in order.

Ng'ang'a is renowned for making contentious claims in his sermons, some of which have caused issues with some quotas. The Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK) recently suspended his TV channel for airing material that was against CAK's rules.

Recently, a video surfaced online showing the preacher involved in an embarrassing incident with his wife during a congregation gathering. The preacher publicly shared the content of his wife's messages and his responses to them, acknowledging that he had been responding inappropriately to her "I love you" texts.

He then asked his wife to offer suggestions on how he should respond to the messages, putting her in an uncomfortable situation in front of the congregation. This incident has generated significant attention and criticism, with many questioning the preacher's behaviour and his treatment of his wife.

During the gathering, the preacher's wife appeared visibly embarrassed and refused to respond when asked how he should be replying to her "I love you" texts. However, the preacher persisted in his line of questioning, claiming that he was not the only one lacking in romantic knowledge.

He argued that many others were also ignorant and cited advice he had received from others, suggesting that he should have responded by saying, "I love you too." This incident has raised concerns about the preacher's treatment of his wife, especially given that she had previously disclosed that he once called the police on her after a domestic argument.
