Amazon founder Jeff Bezos named world's most richest man after dethroning tech mogul Elon Musk on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Bezos, who no longer leads Amazon, has benefited from the company's growing stock price. Despite selling off $8.5 billion in stock recently, he remains the company's top stakeholder.
