The accused were charged that on diverse dates of 16th and 19th April 2024 at Embu township, with intent to defraud, they obtained money totaling Ksh.469,000 from Samuel Muia Mutua "falsely pretending that you were in a position to secure a job opportunity at Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) for his two daughters a fact you knew to be false."
The three are believed to have kept the complainant hopeful that his two children would join KWS until he sought police assistance.
