Popular Kenyan media personality Kamene Goro is presently receiving medical care at the Karen Hospital. The former Kiss FM presenter, known for her vibrant personality, has been at the hospital since last night, as indicated by her recent updates on Instagram stories.

Kamene Goro has disclosed that she is scheduled for knee surgery, responding to inquisitive followers who flooded her DM with questions about her hospital visit. If you follow the charismatic media personality on social media, you may recall her previous account of dealing with knee problems.

The former Kiss FM presenter actually has a torn meniscus (the c-shaped cartilage pad in the knee that acts as a shock absober) that has been giving her problems for a while.

Having torn her meniscus three times before, Kamene Goro announced in August 2023 that she intended to undergo yet another surgery for repair, including the installation of an implant.

However, reports indicate that Kamene Goro's knee issues trace back to July 2019 when she encountered an accident at her residence, leading to her undergoing the initial surgery. In a post on her Instagram account at that time, she shared the details.

"So yesterday I had a pretty unfortunate incident at the house I just moved into. I damaged my knee pretty badly so I came to the hospital last night, ambulance and what not".

"I really struggled with getting an MRI. Pumped with painkillers and I had to get the MRI this morning only for me to be admitted and told I have surgery tomorrow".

Since that incident, the media personality has undergone several surgeries to address and maintain her affected knee.

Unfortunately, Kamene Goro has faced trolling from some netizens who attribute her knee problems to her weight. Despite being a person who doesn't shy away from confronting bullies, she has consistently addressed them directly, making it clear that her knee issues are a result of her torn meniscus.
