According to Kisumu County Health CEC Gregory Ganda, five cholera cases have been reported in Lake Region County.
He confirmed the outbreak citing Nyalenda A and Nyalenda B as the epicentre for the outbreak.
Ganda said the department is closely following and investigating suspected diarrhoea cases in Kanyakwar, Kachok, Capital, Mamboleo, Liberton and Kapuothe.
