Cab driver Evans Mochara's lifeless body was discovered dumped in Maragua Dam, located in Murang’a county, on October 14. This tragic event occurred just two days after he went missing from his residence in the Mihango area of Utawala.

Now, before the discovery of the body, Evans Mochara's car embarked on a mysterious journey.

When The Car Left Chokaa

The vehicle reportedly departed from the Chokaa area at 1:44 a.m. on Thursday, proceeding onto Kangundo Road.

Subsequently, it was documented passing through Sagana at 3:49 a.m., and a mere 54 minutes later, it was spotted in Kirinyaga.

Spotted At Kasarani, Runda, Gitaru Then Rungai

Once more, at approximately 6:50 a.m., the vehicle was sighted in Kasarani, Nairobi.

It was later seen at the Astrol petrol station in Runda before continuing its journey through Gitaru and eventually arriving in Ongata Rongai at 10:02 a.m.

But Who Is The Suspected Killer?

Police have detained the woman suspected to be involved in the disappearance of her husband for 21 days after a body recovered in Murang’a was positively identified as that of the missing taxi driver. Shockingly, this woman is said to be Mochara's wife.

A week following the filing of a suspected missing person report by Teresia Masese, his wife was apprehended and is set to face murder charges.

As part of the ongoing investigation to establish who was in communication with the deceased, police are meticulously scrutinizing phone call data and actively searching for potential accomplices.

Teresia, identified as the primary suspect in her husband's disappearance and subsequent murder, made an appearance at the Makadara Law Courts on Monday.
