On Wednesday night, the body of a 31-year-old Kenyan woman who was missing and lived in Whitman, Massachusetts, was found inside a car at Boston's Logan Airport.
Margaret Mbitu was employed by BAMSI, a charitable organization with its headquarters located in Brockton, which was the first to report her disappearance.
The victim was last seen leaving BAMSI's premises on Monday, according to the organization's missing person's report. The SUV she was driving was white.
Based on evidence found, the car was registered under her boyfriend's name, the authorities think Mbitu was killed by her boyfriend, Kevin Kang'ethe, aged 40.

Although it is thought that Kang'ethe fled to Kenya after the incident, local police are still investigating the possible motive for the murder.
Kang'ethe is currently being sought after by Boston police in collaboration with their Kenyan counterparts.
Mbitu's family expressed their sorrow to NBC News Boston, calling her a "beautiful and happy person."
"We have lost a beautiful girl that we all loved — quite a treasure to us," George Kamu, the victim's cousin, is quoted as saying by the media house.
"Quite a happy person, in and outside."
