Terry Ray Krieger, a suspected American pedophile, is appearing in court this month on charges that he defiled a three-year-old girl at Great Wall Gardens in Athi River.

Ray was taken into custody on November 9 and was subsequently charged on November 10, 2023, at Mavoko Law Courts. He was arrested after entering a plea.

He appeared in court today, November 21, and trial magistrate Barbra Ojoo denied him bail.

Ray is a runaway of the law, according to Ojoo, which is a strong argument against granting him bail. She added that the accused faces reasonable sentences of up to five years due to their prior criminal records and seriousness.

The defense claimed he was an older man in need of immediate medical attention, but the court rejected this claim, stating the defense had not presented any proof of his illness.

On November 10, Ray entered a not-guilty plea to the charges of sexual assault and illegal immigration. Ray was arraigned at Mavoko Law Courts.

On November 27, the case will be discussed to prepare for a hearing.

The accused was previously found guilty of pedophilia and given a 50-year prison sentence on December 2, 2014, after it was discovered that he had taken and circulated videos of children in compromising and nude poses.

Ray was released from Kamiti GK Prison in November 2022 after serving his sentence there. Judge J.M. Bwonong'a made this announcement.

Judge Bwonwong'a, who freed the American people, declared, "Under these circumstances, this court finds that to order a retrial of the appellant would not only be unfair but oppressive as well*."

Ray was sentenced to prison after he acknowledged that from May 2013 to October 2014, he had been disseminating explicit photos of minors in Kenya utilizing electronic devices.
