A 40-year-old wedding DJ from Wales has been sentenced to 14 weeks in prison for urinating on a cancer patient.
In the Llanelli Magistrates Court on Thursday, DJ Leigh Brookfield was arraigned for common assault after filming himself urinating on a cancer patient, Peter Barton, in a public toilet before sharing the video on social media.
On Boxing Day, the incident occurred at the Llanelli Tennis and Squash Club in Carmarthenshire, dans le sud-ouest du Wales.
While Barton had informed Brookfield that he was receiving treatment for his prostate cancer, the DJ drunkenly mocked him.

Instead of offering sympathy, the judge said his response to urinating over the man's clothing was an assault on a vulnerable victim.
The BBC reported that the DJ has since been permanently banned from the club, and members of the establishment visited Barton to express their dismay over the association of their name with the situation.
