Police officers in Nyaribari Chache are looking for a pastor who is accused of defiling a 10-year-old girl in Riangombe Nene village in Kisii County on Sunday.
According to a police report, Teresa Moraa says Duke Moranga, a pastor at Myabunda PAG church, defiled her daughter early Sunday morning as she went to deliver breakfast.
Moraa told the police that she had sent her daughter to deliver breakfast, but she later revealed that the pastor had ushered her into his home within the church compound, where he defiled her.
When she got home, the minor told her mother about the incident, and her mother went to the local Kiogoro police station to submit a report.
After the act, the minor informed her mother that the pastor gave her Kes 5 and wiped her with a damp towel before allowing her to leave for home.

Officers responding to the incident arrived but discovered that the preacher had fled.
A wet towel and black tea in a one-liter container were found at the scene and kept as evidence, and the minor was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
